loco pilot informed the officers about the incident, following which the RPF team from Shivki reached the spot. They found a stone weighing about 3 kg at the site. Two days earlier, a 7-meter-long old telecom iron pillar was found placed on the 43/10-11 railway line near Bilaspur Road Rudrapur City station. Fortunately, it was spotted in time. The loco pilot of a train passing through the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (EDFC) in Prayagraj heard a sound of something colliding with the engine near kilometer number 271/42 between New Manauri and New Karachna. Due to limited space at Prayagraj Junction for empty train rakes, they will be parked in the loop lines of smaller stations like Karachna, Bhirpur, Meja Road, Manda Road, Bamrauli, Manauri, Bharwari, Sirathu, Manohargunj, and Syed Saranwa. While MEMU trains usually have 8 coaches, during the Maha Kumbh, most of them will operate with 16 coaches.
