Railways system. This initiative is driven by the Ministry of Railways to address the shortage of medical professionals and inadequate healthcare facilities within the railway network. The Gorakhpur hospital, established in 1930, spans over 3.5 acres and offers a range of services, including 366 beds, ICUs, emergency care, dialysis, and more. It serves over 800 patients daily in its OPD and admits 30-35 patients daily. The committee will assess the hospitals' existing resources and submit recommendations to the Medical Council of India (MCI) for approval. The hospitals selected include those from North Eastern Railway, South East Central Railway, Northern Railway, East Central Railway, Central Railway, Southern Railway, Western Railway, South Central Railway, North Central Railway.
