Central Railway officials emphasized the need to improve passenger experience by increasing space on platforms, especially on island platforms, which have train lines on both sides. The initiative is in response to a mid-day campaign that led to the widening of platform 10 at Dadar. Similar efforts are underway to improve space at other busy stations, including Kurla, Ghatkopar, Thane, Dombivli, Wadala Road, and Kalyan.

Central Railway ke officials ne platforms pe space badhaane ki jarurat par zor diya hai, khass kar island platforms pe, jahan dono taraf train lines hoti hai. Yeh initiative mid-day campaign ke baad kiya gaya hai, jiske wajah se Dadar pe platform 10 ko wide kiya gaya tha.
