please wait...Translate to EnglishDumka needs a superfast train, like SL (10 coaches). We need a train like this because the Godda HS type won't be successful. It has complete 3AC, which is more expensive than normal 3AC. It would be great if we get a Madhupur ANVT type SF train.
The problem is that Dumka suffers when Godda gets the train instead. The general public faces difficulties. For example, look at the Dumka Ranchi ICE train, most people don't get seats in general class. Even in SL class, there is no guarantee of getting a seat 1 to 2 days before the journey.
Kaviguru Dumka was provided Howrah connectivity but the source was JMP/Bgp, which causes problems for the common public regarding seat availability. Reservations are empty but the general class is almost always full.
There is a difference between the source station and via station, especially for the general public.
