Think of Vande Bharat trains as a legacy that this government wants to leave on Indian Railways as every previous govt. as done and then it'll make sense. It doesn't matter if the trains will bleed money or won't live upto their name. What matters is that they introduced a new flagship series of trains and replaced the previous ones.
