** Policy of IR should be to serve as many passengers as possible in the national interest and earn more revenue through rightful means in the organisational interest and not such whimsical policies.

more... Vast number of trains can be seen running empty and yet passengers not getting confirmed tickets, especially from the intermediate stations. Thanks to the so called plethora of such policies of IR. Huge number of quotas, undue priority to a class of passengers (often non-paying/ free-trippers), to originating stations, to various HQs, etc. etc. etc.
** Instead of sticking to "Duronto" tag and operating the train with small all a.c. rake, IR could have operated this train with full length rake (22 LHB coaches) and using non ac SL coaches
** Following approx. timings would have served large number of passengers and fetched IR a much higher revenue:

BRC (arr 7:10/7:30)
ADI (arr 8:35/8:55) ----- instead of 6:40
