1 WAG9Hi-TATA-31460 --- Roy at his best to frame the Tatanagar giant at Dankuni. This robust machine was resting under mid-day sun on 7th April 2014 mued with a Bhilai WAG9H after bringing in BCNA consist. WAG9Hi is a variant of 3-phase goods locos which are the only electric locomotives in India fitted with Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) traction control as of now and are more heavier versions. This variant also got an axle load of 22.5 tonnes. The tractive effort of G9 HI during the start is 520kN and continuous is 320kN.
