The sincerity of Mr.Felix Xavier should be appreciated but Railways fails to understand that if we lose an original ID card like Driving license or Passport , it takes many days to get a replacement for that which results in loss of pay for them. Moreover people are forced to bribe, else they will be made to wait and many more hassles are present to get the replacement for the proof. So people are afraid to take the original card only because of the fear that they may lose it. So IR should allow the phototcopy of the proofs

There are other ID cards to rite. In no way all ID will be lost. Some ID might be there. I will say, no to photocopy. It is very easy to forge if photocopy is used. I can book a tkt, transfer it to my friend by just changing the photo, which can be done easily via system, Take scan of my id card, replace my pic with my freind's pic and take a black and white printout. No one will be able to identify it. Ad my friend can travel easily. If photocopy is allowed, then you can see hell lot of such things happening, especially by travel agents. so i will say no to photocopy, org should be presented

No bro, i meant suppose if it gets lost in travel means its a big headache. Your reason is correct regarding the forge, if we lose a license accidentally then its trouble. I generally prefer PAN card since its very easy to get the replacement , some old people have only voter id as proof , if they lose it means that's it !!! I have lost my for voter id in 2013 at udupi ( infact during my travel only i missed it , i kept in my friends bag and we lost the bag) , i applied for replacement and i'm still waiting for that. That's the problem

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
