I reserved in 12632/Nellai Superfast Express Sleeper class PNR 472-6180206 & ticket no 68952308 on 20.03.2015 at 16.42 Hrs in the Kovilpatti station reservation counter.
I demand sleeper class ticket Kovilpatti to Chennai Egmore with reserved up to Tambaram and present the application form . I informed that i need reservation up to Tambaram only ,then i catch local train at Tambaram to Guindy .The ticket issuing staff informed me that if Sleeper class ticket issued as reserved up to Tambaram ,Then the Ticket is not valid in the Tambaram to Guindy in the local train and inform that once get down at any station then the ticket not valid in other trains.

though i mentioned in application form Reserved up to Tambaram in the Kovilpatti to Chennai Egmore,i received ticket without resv.upto ....................404.
I traveled on 23.03.2015 in Nellai express and get down at Tambaram Station on 24.03.2015 around 7.00 am in the 6 th platform and went to the counter in the Eastern side of the Station and demand a local ticket to Guindy .I received Tambaram to Kodambakkam which is situated beyond Guindy .Ticket no. 056134617 dated R20895 24.03.2015, 07.16 Hrs for Rs 5 .
I taveled in the local train from Tambaram to Guindy and get down at Guindy station around 8.00 am on 24.03.2015.
I personally contacted the Station Master of the Guindy Station.I showed both Sleeper Class Ticket and local ticket and deliberate with him regarding Reserved up to in the Sleeper Class Ticket .I ask him, sir whether you permit me to travel in the Sleeper class RESERVED ticket to Egmore with Reserved up to Tambaram and get down at Tambaram and catch a local train from Tambaram to Guindy?
Mr.ASOKAN the Station Master informed me that Reserved up to Tambaram in the Chennai Egmore is valid in the Tambaram to Egmore local train .Further he ( SAMRAT. ASHOKAN ) informed that if any of the Ticket Chekking Staffs Refused the Reserved up to Tambaram ticket in Tambaram to Egmore section,inform his name and contact the Guindy Station office to avoid fine.
Further he advised me that next time travel to Guindy from Kovilpatti ,Reserve the ticket to Chennai Egmore with RESERVED UP TO TAMBARAM.Further informed that there is no discrimination in travelling in the Chennai Egmore to Tambaram with valid long distance passenger ticket and he informed that Guindy station issued same ticket to the local passenger and Puducherry Passenger train.

I further inquired from the other southern district passenger . They inform that in the southern district Railway booking offices do not issue Reserved up to Tambaram in the Chennai Egmore ticket.
But, they also informed that some staffs whether it is legally or not permitted some times on ward journey Tambaram to Saidapettai but not permitted the reverse journey Mambalam to Saidapettai in the Egmore Reserved ticket.
I requested that all the Southern District Railway Booking Offices shall be issued in the reserved Egmore ticket RESERVED UP TO TAMBARAM if the passenger demand .This single ticket travel from Kovilpatti to Guindy shall be much benefited for the passenger travel from GUINDY to Porur,Ayyappathangal,Poonamalee and Velacherry etc.
