train, 04043 Garib Rath Clone Express, was supposed to run between Muzaffarpur and Delhi. The passengers were left scrambling for accommodation, with some even having to travel with their families, including small children. The Sonepur railway division attributed the issue to two coaches being left out in Delhi due to technical reasons, but many passengers remain upset and demand compensation. Passengers took to social media to highlight the issue and lodge complaints with the railway authorities.

The East Central Railway has announced the operation of summer special trains between Muzaffarpur, Saharsa, Bhagalpur, Ranchi, and New Delhi. The 04044 Delhi-Muzaffarpur Summer Special will depart from Delhi at 7:40 PM every Tuesday and Saturday from May 2nd to May 28th, reaching Muzaffarpur at 5:00 PM the next day, with a stop at Pataliputra. The 04043 Muzaffarpur-Delhi Summer Special will depart from Muzaffarpur at 10:30 PM every Wednesday and Sunday from May 3rd to May 29th. Both special trains will have 16 AC 3-tier coaches. The 04074 New Delhi-Saharsa Summer Special will depart from New Delhi at 8:50 PM every Thursday and Sunday from May 4th to May 30th. The 04073 Saharsa-New Delhi Summer Special will depart from Saharsa at 5:30 AM every Tuesday and Saturday from May 2nd to June 1st. Both special trains will have 16 AC 3-tier coaches.
