On Tuesday evening, a team including the Chief Commercial Manager, the IG of Railway Protection Force, and other senior officials conducted ticket checks on the Ganga Kaveri Express (12269) and the Mahanagari Express (22178). They removed unauthorized passengers, resulting in satisfaction among reserved ticket holders. Earlier in the afternoon, another team led by Assistant Commercial Managers Akilesh Kumar Nayak and Gracious Nazrat carried out similar checks on trains like 07420, 12322, 13201, 22177, 01471, and 02186 across the division, resulting in the collection of over INR 5.13 lakh in fines from 666 passengers. This initiative aims to ensure a comfortable and hassle-free journey for reserved ticket holders.

However, no confirmed seats are available in any class on these trains for the next two months. This situation prevails despite the fact that schools and colleges in Prayagraj are still open and most will commence summer vacations only between 15th and 20th May. Even before the holidays, all trains to Mumbai and Pune are fully booked. The Prayagraj-Mumbai Duronto Express has no berths available in any class until 15th June.

In train mein agle do mahine kisi bhi श्रेणी mein confirm seat nahin hai. Yeh haal tab hai jab Sangamanagari ke sabhi school-college abhi khule hue hain. Adhikaansh mein garmi ki chuttiyan 15 se 20 May se shuru honge. Bawjud iske abhi se hi Mumbai, Pune aadi route ki sabhi train full hain. Prayagraj se Mumbai jaane wali Duranto mein ab 15 June tak kisi bhi श्रेणी mein berth nahin hai.
