in general,
pryj se aane waali trains pf 1/2/3/4 leti hai proceed further provided on the basis they have to go thru line1,2 or line3,4
and
on/lko se aane waali trains pf7/8/9 leti hai provided dat proceed towards ndls thru line 3/4 & not going via GOY.

trains like ljn/jhs ice and chitrakoot take pf1/2 as they take line 1,2 and proceed towards jhs/bnda (via BZM)

reason why ljn shat was shifted to pf9 as it had to criss cross scissor twice.

What i observed is that..
PF 1,2,3 are used by trains coming from PRYJ/DDU side and rarely by trains from LKO/ON side.
PF 4 is used for both trains coming from PRYJ side or NDLS side.
PF 5,6 used by trains coming from NDLS and FBD side and going towards PRYJ/DDU side
PF...

7 is used by NDLS side trains going to PRYJ and LKO side trains going to NDLS or FBD side.
PF 8 and PF9 is ONLY used by trains going towards or coming from LKO because these both lines do not have a turnout towards PRYJ/DDU mainline.
