Don’t understand why KL is not letting go Mangalore area. If they are so much concerned about Mangalore, then why are they not hearing to the demands
if they cant develop then why not leaving mangalore why so obsession with mangalore
Sad to see this type of discussion even after 75 years of independence. Indian railways is suppose to combine india beyond the boundries of states, districts, zones and divisions.
No need to use the word "Bifurcation ". Bifurcation means dividing the existing asset into two or more. Here, the correct word should be "Realignment". Don't dissolve Palakkad division, just realign 35 kms in and around Mangalore from SR to SWR.
Pollachi Kinathukadavu 22 kms to be realigned from PGT to SA division. PGT should have PGT POY (excl) as their limits.
Same way, let TVC division be realigned by alloting CAPE TEN portion to MDU division. Let Madurai division give SCT QLN section to TVC division. Win win for TN...
