se engine mein pressure build-up ho raha tha, jiski wajah se engine fail ho jaata tha. IIT Kanpur aur RDSO ke saath kai test karne ke baad, engineers ne yeh prove kiya ki filter ko hataane se engine ki performance par koi asar nahi padega. Railway Board ne sabhi electric locomotives se is filter ko hataane ki approval de di hai, jisse ₹900 crore se zyada ki bachat hone ki ummeed hai. Isse maintenance ka kharcha kam hoga aur engine fail hone ki wajah se aane wali disruptions bhi kam honge.
