Notably, a large number of people travel to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar during these festivals every year. The Jabalpur Railway Division conducted a rigorous ticket checking drive over a period of six months (April 1, 2024, to September 30, 2024), which yielded a record revenue collection of Rs. 27.58 crore. The drive identified over 1.9 lakh cases of unauthorized travel, resulting in the recovery of Rs. 16.31 crore in fines and fare. Additionally, over 2 lakh passengers were caught traveling in higher classes with lower-class tickets, leading to the collection of Rs. 11.22 crore in fines and fare. The drive also apprehended 3140 cases of passengers traveling with excess baggage, resulting in the collection of over Rs. 5.40 lakh in fines.

Puja ke time passengers ko confirmed tickets dene ke liye railway ne yeh special trains chalaane ka faisla kiya hai. Yeh special trains 30 November tak chalengi. Is baat pe dhyan dein ki har saal Diwali aur Chhath Puja ke time bahut saare log Uttar Pradesh aur Bihar ki taraf jaate hain. Jabalpur Railway Division ne 6 months (1 April 2024 se 30 September 2024 tak) ke liye ek ticket check drive chalaayi thi, jisse unhone record Rs. 27.58 crore ka revenue collect kiya hai. Is drive mein 1.9 lakh se zyada unauthorized travel cases pakde gaye, jiske wajah se unhone Rs. 16.31 crore ka fine aur fare collect kiya. Iske saath hi 2 lakh se zyada passengers ko lower class tickets ke saath higher class mein travel karte hue pakda gaya, jiske wajah se Rs. 11.22 crore ka fine aur fare collect kiya gaya.
