Still that will not curb out ! Very poor mindset people's here have ki Memu rukte hue jayegi itne stations and they are well aware of Danapur controllers toh isse acha SF/EXP se chalte hain jaldi pahunchenge than another group of people's chaliye AC class Khali hain toh Aram se chalte hain usme itni garmi hain.Sabse badi problem ki regular tickets checking nahi hoti hain daily strictly checkings ho sab akal bahar aa jayega in Logan ka.
Yes agree. Weak Political leadership is a big issue at Katihar.
Vande Bharat is a classic example, region got this train thanks to KNE MP, everyone was little doubtful about the success of this train. But this VB is doing really well and running almost full daily..
So this region really needs some good long distance originating trains from Katihar as well.

Sahi baat hai. Checking to jabardast tarike se honi chaiye. I agree with the point poor mindset. Free me ac ka maje lene hote hai. Ecr ko running ttes deni chaiye with escorts jo updown kare ara-patna-bkp.
Katihar earnings+footfall showcased it's worth if daily trains given for Pune, Mumbai,Bengaluru,surat it can easily enter in top 200 crores clubs combining uts+prs but sadly because of MP like dulal Chandra it is neglected by RB for providing new trains although pit is underutlilised atleast a daily train for Mumbai/Bengaluru is needed.Atlast purnea footfall is also nice it's in top 6 in UTS.
As a rail enthusiast I will give my opinion. These trains should be there from katihar junction

Bohot hi acchi train and iska time table banaya hai.. 05061 ki hi tarah extension milta rahe isko bhi bass..
kuchh bhi nahi hoga ispar, aur agar ho bhi gaya to iska time table jo pilibhit se delhi tak 8 hours le raha hai vo bahut hi slow hai.
agar rat ko 9.10 wali demu se bareilly pahuch ke vaha se shramjeevi ya kashi vishwanath bhi pakadte hai to bhi iss train se jaldi pahuch jayege

लखनऊ। रेलवे प्रशासन ने लखनऊ से वाराणसी के बीच समर स्पेशल ट्रेन का संचालन 21 मई तक बढ़ा दिया है। उत्तर रेलवे लखनऊ मंडल की सीनियर डीसीएम रेखा शर्मा ने बताया कि 04217 वाराणसी- लखनऊ स्पेशल वाराणसी से सुबह 6:25 बजे रवाना होकर बाबतपुर, जौनपुर जंक्शन, शाहगंज, अकबरपुर, अयोध्या धाम, रुदौली, दरियाबाद, बाराबंकी होते हुए दोपहर पौने 12 बजे लखनऊ पहुंचेगी। वापसी में 04218 लखनऊ-वाराणसी मेमू स्पेशल लखनऊ से शाम 4:30 बजे चलकर रात 9:50 बजे वाराणसी पहुंचेगी। (माई सिटी रिपोर्टर)
