after questioning, was presented in court and sent to jail. Earlier, Pawan Sahni was arrested in connection with the incident. Sahni was arrested in Chunar, but during questioning, he revealed that Shahid had paid him Rs. 300 to throw stones at the train. Sahni was arrested after it was discovered that he was the one who threw stones at the train on August 22nd and 23rd, following which the railway administration was put on high alert. The incident led to the registration of a case under sections 153 and 147 of the Indian Penal Code by the Vyasanagar RPF.

Sahni ko arrest tab kiya gaya jab pata chala ki woh 22nd aur 23rd August ko train pe patthar maarte hue dikha tha, jiske baad railway administration khudke upar alert ho gaya. Is incident ke baad Vyasanagar RPF ne Indian Penal Code ke sections 153 aur 147 ke tahat case register kiya.
