The man, identified as Ram Gopal Vishwakarma, was caught on Monday while traveling on the Prayagraj-Bikaner Express. He claimed to be a railway board director but was found to be using fake passes to travel in first-class coaches. He was apprehended by the RPF and GRP personnel at Gwalior Railway Station. He had 15 fake passes and ₹70,000 in his possession. He is a retired railway employee from Jhansi and has been using his fake identity to influence railway officials and potentially extort money. An investigation is underway to determine the source of the fake passes and if he was involved in any other fraudulent activities.
