-Pehle to rail budget 2013 itself was so weird for NCR...Mathura -ALD SF ko Jaipur extend kar dia?(via tTDL-RKM-AGC-RKM-MTJ --JP?---- what a weird route long route ....so many rake reversals...shouldn't directly Agra to Jaipur should have been done?
-The most logical Superhit extension ( I had written to RB for its extension to NZM in Dec2012) would have been to NZM with stoppage at FDB(old Faridabad):
DOWN: NZM 6:30-7PM...FDB 7:20 PM..AGC 11:PM.....CNB 5:30 AM.....ALD 7:45/8 AM

a. a direct extension from MTJ without involving rake/reverse .......+ NZM to MTJ is a 115+km/hr track easily achieved within 2hrs? with one stop by a SF train..im sure NZM par daytime mein (11:00am-6:00pm) ek rake ki maintainace ki jagah to hogi.....
b. this would have thus become 1st train of choice for South DELHI/South Haryana(Faridabad etc.) going to CNB/ALD without making them come to north NDLS/DLI/ANVT.
c. this train runs with 18-19 coaches only... another 1 2AC,2 3AC, 2 SL should have been added to make full 24 coacher( accommodate S. Delhi/Faridabad crowd... im sure 2-3 AC coaches would not have remained vacant.... S. DELHI/Faridabad....that much daily "AC" Class crowd is there, surely)
-Now, till now it has enjoyed quite a fair punctual run in NCR,, but with this new proposed extension to JP via MTJ??..... iske din bhi gaye samjho :|
RB officials se kya extension manga tha aur kya sanction ho gaya !! :(

MTJ-AWR-JP...you sure??
MTJ to Alwar ..123km = minmum 1.30 hrs(if double line??) ...+ Alwar to JaiPur....151km=minimum 2.15 hrs (if double line??).
Thus, total extension time 3.45 - 4hrs to cover 274km b/w MTJ and JP with a single halt at Alwar.
Now, MTJ reaching time of the train is 8:20 AM , should depart by 8:40 am (because of loco reversal) so

it should reach JP by 12:40 pm.
Now,departure from MTJis again at 8:40PM(arrival 8:20 am +20 mins for rake reversal) so by that logic it must depart from JP at 4:00 pm to reac MTJ at 8:00pm to depart by 8:20 pm ......
I don't believe they will dare/bother change TT b/w MTJ and ALD and vice versa (grand chord run timimgs will not be touched..lazy officials will refrain from changings timings at ALA,CNB,TDL,AGC etc)...so if the extension route is MTJ-AWR-JP then new TT should be something like:
ALD 11:30PM...MTJ 8:20-8:40 AM (rake/loco reversal).....JP 12:40 PM
JP 4:00PM....MTJ 8:00 - 8:20 PM ((rake/loco reversal).....ALD 5:AM
A. Are railway so callous that for such good daily SF train they will provide for only 3hours of maintainAnce (effectively even less time....because hey 70% of the run is within NCR ...LATE HONA TOH BANTA HAI :P) for this SF category train which even boasts of 1AC coach?
OR
B. Jaipur Jn. maintainance staff is super efficient or with too free time that they can get a SF which arrives after a 12+hr run at 12:40-1:00 pm and get cleaned/checked and be back by 3: 30 PM ( if dep time is 4:00PM) on the platform ?

no loco reversal at MTJ is require, if it goes via AWR.... and a SF train, connecting AWR with UP is required since the route diversion of Marudhar Express.... so, it must go via AWR.

I think only daytime single rake Shatabdi/Jan Shatabdi/Smprk Kranti/Intercities/Holiday Specials run with such tight schedules...
Can anyone give me similar example of a daily SF night time, long distance (700+km) train with dedicated non sharing TWIN rakes with such tight schedule? plse furnish some examples.
