It's time for BJP to step up and give more trains and railway projects to the neglected areas of WB like Midnapore, Bankura, Bishnupur, and Purulia. If not, the 2026 elections in WB will not look good. These areas have been left behind for the past 10 years with no new trains or projects in sight. The people are fed up with empty talk, they want action! The BJP MP from Bishnupur barely won by a few votes, mainly because he promised to kickstart the Bankura-Masagram route to HBC route of ER. Here are some demands: 1. Finish Anara MEMU shed by Dec 2024 and start more MEMU and Express trains in Adra division. 2. Bring back all the express and passenger trains that were cancelled in Adra division during ZBTT 2020. People are suffering due to lack of trains. 3. Start the Bowaichandil-Khana New line project immediately, as 90% of the land is already available with SER. 4. Extend the Aranyak exp to Bokaro and make timetable changes based on suggestions from locals. 5. Restore the Bokaro-Asansol MEMU train cancelled due to Covid. The Bankura MP from BJP made a fake promise on Facebook to restore the train before the election, but it was just a bluff that cost him votes in the end.
