bullet_doshi 4 blog postsEven after having push / pull locomotives, why is this train the slowest between Malda Town and Bangaluru compared to other trains on the same route?
Being weekly train it was accommodated in empty slot of other weekly trains. So it maintains the speed and running time of that slot.
Then what is the use of push/pull locomotives, if it will take same time as other trains. It seems a waste of precious resource.
Railway board and ministry should know the use of second engine. They should run triweekly/4 days week daily trains with new faster slot to make use of push-pull technology instead of introducing weekly trains. These two rakes may be in testing for future rakes and they make changes.
13433 & 13434 has the provision of speed up.
