The reason this new train was conceptualized is so that GD doesn't get extended from PNBE side in the first place. The moment there was a hint of political pressure from ARA, ECR came out with this train for BGP as to prevent the extension of this train from PNBE to ARA side.
Just goes to show how DNR treats their own stations if they aren't from Patna area.
Had the loco reversal at PNBE been such an issue, ECR could have easily subverted that issue by routing it via Tilaiya, Rajgir after...

The fact that BGP which is in ER gets more sympathy than ARA just goes on to perfectly elucidate the mentality of DNR_ECR as a whole!

Bas yahi dikha deta hai ki agar kisi station ka Patna area se nahi hai, tab DNR usko kaise treat karta hai. Agar PNBE mein loco reversal itna issue tha toh ECR asani se us issue ko avoid kar sakti thi, Tilaiya, Rajgir ke beech route karke Gaya ke baad, phir Patna mein loco reversal ka koi issue nahi hota. Yeh baat hai ki ER mein hai BGP, jisko ARA se jyada sympathy milti hai, woh DNR_ECR ki mentality bilkul saaf dikhati hai! Kisi bhi tarah se mujhe hamesha khushi hoti hai jab Jharkhand ko koi train milti hai. Dumka aur Santhal Pargana ke logo ko badhai ho!
