Parli Thermal power has a operational capacity of 750MW now with commissioning dates of 2007 to 2016 for a 250MW plant which wil have life till 2037-2046. If doubling project is completed by 2027 then only the line wil be able to generate surplus to IR. The coal is
sourced from Singareni coal fields from Ramagundum area through Adilabad and Karimnagar lines and the reason for electrification of that sections and doubling from Purna to Mudked and then to Nizamabad first of the entire stretch from Manmad to Secunderabad. Have to see how IR will allocate funds in next 3 yrs for these sections for early completion.

Work has already begun I Suppose. Yesterday I was onboard 07600 Parli Akola Passenger n it was detained at Vadgaon Nila for almost an hour n no crossing at that time as well. Could see land being levelled n dug up at many places.
