मागणी परिसरातील नागरिकांकडून वर्षानुवर्षे होत आहे. नागरिकांची मागणी लक्षात घेऊन रेल्वे प्रशासनाकडून ५ वर्षांपूर्वी रेल्वे मार्ग टाकण्यासाठी सर्वेक्षण करण्याचे आदेश देण्यात आले होते, मात्र कालांतराने हे काम जनतेने लक्ष न दिल्याने हे थंडबस्त्यात गेले. या क्षेत्रातील लोकप्रतिनिधी, समाजसेवी संगठना व नागरिकांनी एकत्र येऊन तुमसर रोड ते रामटेक अशी पॅसेंजर गाडी सुरू करण्यासाठी प्रयत्न करायला हवे. हा मार्ग तयार झाल्यास पैशांची बचत होण्याबरोबरच वेळेचीही बचत होईल तसेच रेल्वे स्थानकांच्या परिसरातील व्यवसायही वाढेल.

चर्चा आहे की, या मार्गाचे सर्वेक्षण करण्याचे आदेश देण्यात आले होते, मात्र राजकीय इच्छाशक्तीच्या अभावामुळे त्याकडे दुर्लक्ष करण्यात आले. तुमसर ते रामटेक (नागपूर) हा रेल्वे मार्ग जोडल्यास ग्रामीण भागाच्या विकासाला चालना मिळणार आहे. तालुक्यातील गायमुख, चांदपूर तीर्थ क्षेत्र आणि अंबागड किल्ल्याच्या विकास कामाला गती मिळणार असून, त्यामुळे जगभरातील पर्यटक आकर्षित होतील.

नवीन रेल्वे लाईन टाकण्याचे सार्थक प्रयत्न करा

नवीन रेल्वे मार्ग टाकण्यासाठी परिसरातील लोकप्रतिनिधींनी अर्थपूर्ण प्रयत्न केले पाहिजेत. त्यामुळे सर्वसामान्यांना प्रवास करणे सोपे होणार आहे. तुमसर ते रामटेक या नवीन मार्गासाठी रेल्वे मंत्रालयाने २०१६ साली सर्वेक्षणाचे आदेश दिले होते. मात्र स्थानिक लोकप्रतिनिधींनी याकडे लक्ष दिलेले नाही.

For years, the citizens of the area have been demanding to build a new railway line from Tumsar to Ramtek and start a passenger train on this line. Keeping in view the demand of the citizens, the railway administration had ordered a survey to lay the railway line 5 years ago, but over time, this work went cold due to lack of public attention. People's representatives, social service organizations and citizens of this area should work together to start a passenger train from Tumsar Road to Ramtek. If this route is constructed, besides saving money, time will also be saved and business in the vicinity of railway stations will also increase.

It is said that a survey of the route was ordered, but was neglected due to lack of political will. Connecting the railway line from Tumsar to Ramtek (Nagpur) will boost the development of rural areas. The development work of Gaymukh, Chandpur Pilgrimage Area and Ambagad Fort in the taluka will be accelerated, thus attracting tourists from all over the world.

Local people's representatives should make meaningful efforts to lay new railway lines. So it will be easy for common people to travel. The Ministry of Railways had ordered a survey in 2016 for the new line from Tumsar to Ramtek. But the local people's representatives have not paid attention to this.
