Status of Drgs:- 09 Nos. of ESP prepared and 7 Nos. ESP (PNU, MSH, UM SID, DRW, KMLI & UJA) approved from HQ. 02 Nos. under approval with CE/PL- CCG. Presently in process of approval of HQ. L-Section 13 Nos. approved from Div. and submitted to HQ. 10 Nos. L-Section approved by HQ and 03 Nos. under approval with HQ. ESPs will be approved with L-sections. SIP drawing will be submitted by Railway. All GADs and Drgs. other than ESPs and SIPs are to be prepared by EPC contractor and to be got approved from Railway. 04 Nos. of FLS. In reference to Rly Bd. vide letter No. 2019/W-I/WR/SY/DL/PNU-MSH Dtd. 23.09.2019 the execution of MSH-PNU Doubling Project is to be implemented on EPC turnkey basis. EPC tender will be called for Civil,Track, S&T, Elect.(TRD) and Elect.(G) EPC tender document is under the approval of CSTE/C-1/WR EPC tender is under HQ Finance vetting. Compliance of observations has been submitted on 14.09.21 and re submitted after compliance and Railway Board has issued amendments in EPC document and same is under revision. EPC will be resubmitted to HQ Finance after incorporating all amendments. However, the amendments in EPC tender document and approval will consume more time, with reference to vision of Rly.BD the project is to be commissioned by 2024, hence GM – WR accorded sanction to execute the work by 2 packet systems (Rate contracts basis & EPC). MSH – Bhandu section and all yard work will be carried out on Rate contracts basis, and the remaining section can be done through EPC. NIT of MSH – BHU is under preparation.
