Railways will not want to lose revenues especially in December and year end when rush is very high and trains are running with heavy wait list. So a bit of disadvantage for those who already have booked earlier. Has any been made of Tatkal?
They can make necessary change in software already fares of festival spls reverted to normal train fare on par with COVID spls as quoted by some member today noon. Regarding your spe ific train question I don't have know how software protocols work. As this decision concerning all trains running over IR they will make changes.
