Yes, for i think DDJ is being undermined. From KOAA, 'tis a diff thing, but is expected to be given stoppage for mail/exp or pass from SDAH....isn't it???? Don't i have the right to voice my opinions, being a citizen of a democratic country???? My req is that if not from KOAA, then atleast from SDAH, give stops at DumDum.....Railway authorities are turning blind eyes to it...even the basic passenger amenities are not available. An overbridge of wood , that too so narrow while others(even Barrackpore, BNXR) are having concrete and wide FOBs!!!!!!

Are u supporting the inattention of the railway officials towards DDJ, while they are so much 'careful' even about BNXR that they are even stoppimg exp trains there.....????!!!!! It is the misfortune of the Dum Dum residents that their dependable and nearest stn is being underestimated....Also congestion is one of the aspects of any Junction stn, be it HWH, BWN, ASN or whatever....is DDJ different in any way from these stns( not comparing with these stns in terms of their sizes and pass amenities). On the contrary, I totally understand your concern. Dumdum is my second home (literally). So I know how the situation is. Not only that, even before I started staying at Dumdum, I always have thought this station is neglected considering this places' historical value. Also this station has a close proximity to airport and a direct metro connectivity. So I do think that DDJ deserves some Express halts. But still I am not sure why ER doesn't provide halt here. I need to find out that answer first. It will be helpful if you could put some light on it.
