SR hasn't even removed the additional slack time added to improve punctuality statistics of TVC, leave alone speeding up any train while launching new TT.
Worse, even with so much slack available, 12624 rarely reaches MAS on time(which is 0740 now).
Fact is, it's practically not possible for 12624 to run any faster, with so many stoppages between TVC & TCR(12 to be precise, when covering 292 km); so double line & electrification hardly makes any difference unless there's any reduction in halts.
