I am posting this tip for 12074 based on my journey experiences from BLS to HWH. I traveled in the 2S class.
1. Cleanliness: The train compartment was clean enough. I expected it to be dirty but I was surprised. Kudos to the passengers for keeping the train clean as I did not spot any cleaning crew.
2. Food: On board catering is quite active. They sell all sorts of items like cake, biscuits, chips, cold drinks, lassi, water, tea, coffee etc. Prices are taken according to MRP. They were

selling items even after KGP.
3. Punctuality: Super punctual. It started with a delay of 30 mins from BBS but reached KGP with a delay of 15 mins. It would have reached Howrah with only a delay of 5 mins but was stranded at Tikiapara and Howrah outer for quite sometime owing to what amounts to about 20 mins delay. Train has a superb run.
4. Tickets: Tickets are easily available in 2S. Even at the last moment, about 100 seats were still left. For AC however, getting tickets is quite difficult as the y sell out quickly.
Also for a general tip, if you are boarding from one of the intermediate stations, getting overhead luggage space can be quite difficult. The same is the case for other CC trains too. Also, if you are a single traveler and have booked a window seat then you probably might not get it(especially if they are occupied by female and aged people). For aged people, I do not mind but really get irritating when healthy people do not move. Also, there is no trouble of daily passengers on this train. Overall I would give this train a 6/10 based on my experience.

You can have a look at the arrival time in Howrah and BBS and you will see that it has an average delay of 10 mins at either place.

I did not realise you were talking of average. I was wondering how it could be 'super punctual' if it started from BBS 30 minutes late and arrived at Howrah 20 minutes late. Now I get what you meant

To be honest, many trains that start late from originating station gets further delayed down the road. Also, the train was about 5 mins late at Tikiapara where it was stopped for a long time. It was also stopped further two times at Howrah outer hence the 20 mins delay.

Like I said, ''I get what you meant''. The whole confusion is a matter of choice of words or style of English language which varies from person to person. I would have used a word like 'generally' or 'usually' before 'super punctual' but then, as I said everyone has a different style in communicating

These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
