= Bandel, categorised as a NSG 3 station, registered a footfall of 0.99cr (1cr footfall was needed for being a NSG 2 station)
= Howrah is the 2nd highest-earning station of India after New Delhi

More than Howrah, i think Bhagalpur and Asansol deserves to be looked after now. Howrah has already received what it deserve, that's why we are seeing such gigantic revenue for Howrah. Every year, Kolkata is receiving 2-3 trains. Recently it got Pune and Jabalpur Humsafar and Antyodata for Chennai. Kolkata is also connected very well with most of India but it is not case with places like Bhagalpur and Asansol. They don't have even connection with important cities like Pune, Hyderabad, etc. Definately tier 1 cities are bound to give highest passenger revenue to any zone but that does not means that tier 2/3 stations should not be looked upon/developed when they are providing appreciable revenue

I dont think any station, either Bhagalpur or Asansol, is neglected otherwise revenue of 126crore for Bhagalpur or 142crore for Asansol would not have been possible but development wise now ER should focus on these 2stations also rather than focusing only on Kolkata based stations. They do have potential of performing much better if proper service and facilities are given to them which is quite evident from their revenue

But Bhagalpur immediate needs more originating trains for delhi, mumbai ,kolkata, and Bangalore. Everyone knows the present conditions of vikramshila, gareeb rath, bgp ltt and anga except ER.

ER is neglecting Bhagalpur by not giving a single new originating train from last 6.5 years.

These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
