UBL:
1. Worst in passenger service.
2. Worst in terms of opening existing lines like Kotturu-Hosapete for passengers. The Swamihalli line too. Then that Alnavar line. All these lines can atleast have a Passenger or two.

more... SWR portion of BAY-HPT is SCR too. With new tender being given, hope they start the work too.
4. New Lines -
- Good that Gangavati will be done in a few months.
- And also Bagalkote-Khajjidoni is awaiting political inauguration with CRS completed. So not their mistake.
- With funds given now, Gadag - Wadi started. But no funds for the Wadi side though LA is done.
5. Except for UBL and maybe BGM, no other station is developed. UBL looks like a airport and is one of the best maintained, but that's no excuse for the pathetic condition of other big stations. Yes, they are clean but still low level PFs and look like British era stations.
6. Rake maintenance is good. Takes up most of the ON trains of intra-state.
7. The best in doubling. Among the 3, UBL is the best in finishing doubling on time. HPT-UBL-LD. BJP-HG. LD-MRJ.
With good allocation tomorrow, it can start going full throttle and complete its part.
8. Among the 3 - made a honest attempt to run a train "for the people" - on UBL-GDG-BAY-RU-MAS line. But poor arrival at MAS - due to SR, and less patronage - cancelled.
9. Saving Grace - maintains the tough Braganza ghat and has under it - the Boss of EMD sheds.

SBC
1. Worst in starting trains inside KA. Excuses, excuses ...... always.
2. Clean rakes, but still 3rd after the other 2.
3. Horribly slow in electrification. Especially YPR-TK. And god knows when they will ask for E-Locos for SBC/YPR- WADI trains. Shortage throughout IR - yes, true. But still can ask for few locos for a few trains.
4. The big stations and small stations PF level and other facilities under SBC is the best of the 3. Including TN part.
5. New Line - one is completed with others construction faster than UBL.
6. Doubling is slow. That YNK-PKD line is too slow.
7. Saving Grace: Is a perennial favorite of KL, TN folks - runs so many trains for them :P

MYS.
1. Best in rake maintenance.
2. Worst in doubling. Taking eons to finish TK-ASK. JRU-UBL. Conveniently for them, track renewal is an excuse as rails have been diverted for that reason.
3. No new lines under them. But their last one - Kadur - Chikkamagaluru can have one more passenger to MYS and an ICE to YPR. That line is totally wasted.
4. Passenger service is waste like the rest 2. But JRU-BAY line - most of it under MYS is the worst.
5. No electrification under them. But tomorrow if funds are given, then all biggies will be under them like TK-UBL. JRU-RDG.
6. Lifeline for SBC - almost all passenger trains of SBC are from MYS CDO. Also Express trains of KA and other states are being dumped on MYS.
7. Worst like UBL in station infra like PF height etc.... for big cities under it. Hassan and Davangere are worse that HPT, BJP and BAY under UBL.
8. Saving Grace: Maintains the steepest BG Ghat - Shirdi Ghat.

When all 3 are compared, then UBL is the best in operation of passenger services for the sections under them.

My vote - all 3 are worst. But MYS is better among them.
