* E loco construction/ procurement too have to be commensurately stepped up, else the money spent in very quick electrification shall be wasted.
* As the electrification is being commissioned at enhanced pace (@ 2000km/yr against an average of 300-400 kms/yr since independence), the requirement of new diesel locos shall dwindle and of eloco shall drastically shoot up.
* Soon IR shall be loaded with a huge unwanted fleet of diesel locos, which shall be disadvantageously operated in electrified territory.

* New diesel loco factory at Marhaura shall not be useful and should be scrapped. Either it should manufacture Eloco or capacity of proposed Eloco factory at Madhepura should be jacked up.
