In our country freights are famous for standing @, remote stations for hours....when 1.2 km long rake will stand at a station it'll be nightmare for road users
NWR me heavy haul Ek baar chalti hai to phir 100-150 km tak non stop chalti hai... They get all signals green and even express trains are stopped and Python are given passing.
And loop lines have been made very long in past 3-4 years... At Phulera Loop lines are almost 2 km long..
