SERIOUS Shortage of Coaches for Kerala Trains : Indian Railways click here
.
Day in and day out there is something or the other that we see in the news about Trains belonging to Kerala suffering damages and minor derailments due to its old worn out Coaches .
.
...
more... The Step motherly treatment being shown by the Southern Railway Zone to Trivandrum / TVC Division, by not allotting sufficient number of new Coach variants that are required to operate their daily trains resulting in serious shortage .
.
It proved to be evident when I happened to capture the Trivandruim Kochuveli - Bangalore City Express , The train belongs to TVC Division of Southern Railways which is seen running with only One SLR ( Second Class Luggage Rake along with a Brake Van cum Guard Cabin) . Yet again a shortage of SLR coaches.
.
Usually every Express trains are attached with 2 SLR coaches one at the front end and the other at the rear end for the Guard to carry out his duties.
.
In this scenario the SLR coach needs to be detached and reversed back and forth depending on the forward direction of the moving train.
.
Hoping Southern Railways does justice by allotting sufficient new Coaches to the Zone.
.
