Thanks, of these except Mangalore Port-Udupi, Mangalore port to MRPL rest all lines are with SWR istelf with most lines coming under Mysore and Bangalore divisions.... so I guess only 70-100 kilometers is getting added extra to SWR I guess.

Yes. Just because of Mangalore Port and its revenue, there is resistance. Rest all lines are with MYS divn only. You may surprised to note that entire stretch from MYS-UBL along with HAS-MAJN, Birur-Talaguppa, as well as Chikjajur-Chitradurga are with MYS. With new lines linking Kerala to Mysore and MYS-Madikeri line, etc., it will become a task to manage MYS divn. Consider the geographical spread.

yes moving it to SWR will make more sense. and mainly because i would like MAQ to be well connected to important cities in karnataka like SBC and UBL with good trains unlike the useless 16517.
i wouldnt want KR to be dissolved because i feel KR does a good job. the trains run fast and the signals are managed well. wouldnt want good engineering to be compromised by regional politics. also there will be unnecessary issues between people of DK and those from rest of karnataka. best to keep that separate. but separation of maq from sr has to happen.

division looks like a talllllllll promise... the least that they can do is include MAQ under Mysore division of SWR...it will be even better if MAQ - Kasargod is also included in SWR...

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
