Currently travelling in 12270 Duranto Express between H.Nizamuddin & Jhansi with god damn 4 hours late!
The Snacks, Tea, Dinner provided everything was too cold! tasteless food!!! i dont know what has happen to this train.. an year ago it had too good catering service aur ab bakwaas!!! 1/10 !!!

This is the best train to travel from Delhi to Chennai and beyond to Coimbatore, if travelling in Sleeper Class. The time taken by this train is very less compared to other trains like GT Express and Tamil Nadu. Regarding Cleanliness we can say that if you have bucks you can prefer AC 3 Tier. But I travel to Coimbatore and this suits me best because you have next connection to Coimbatore in a very short time say 1hrs to 2 Hrs , namely Nilgiri Express and Cheran Express. But I do not suggest Nilagiri because if this train gets late then you have no choice but to go in Bus. So Cheran is best, You have 2 hours waiting time.

and my family used to travel in Kerala Express which was very exhaustive and the food served in Kerala was also not very hot. So for me no problem and what more you can expect in 1245 which includes the Meals and Bed Rolls. So if you are too hygienic conscience then you can book in AC 3 Tier or 2 Tier.

But Both trains Nilagiri and Cheran Express have very high patronage and very tough to get tickets so i think there are better options to CBE from NZM/NDLS.

if you need to travel urgently to a defined time line new delhi - chennai, never use this train which is alwasy delayed. The train of 3/2/14 left hazrat nizamuddin at 1810 instead of 1550 and arrived chennai 1230 on 6/2 instead of 2000hrs on 5/2. choose rajdhani instead wahich is a better bet
