GEN class is MUCH MORE IMPORTANT than SL class for India.7SL/4GEN will be MUCH BETTER than 8SL/3 GEN, for crowded routes. one will realize this if one undertakes at least 1 long distance journey in GEN coach as a Experience Travel.

GEN passengers realize that there is no space for them only after buying a ticket after coming to the station & seeing the huge crowd. SL passengers on other hand, can check the availability of vacancies just by checking online availability of tickets while ticket booking. Several SL travelers actually take...

Just like Tamilnadu, where SF Express are called "Ativega viraivu vandi " , Should we in AP and Telangana switch to referring to SF trains as "Ati Vega bandi"?? I believe it's "Ati Vega bandi or vandi" in Kannada and Malayalam respectively as well so they should follow suit.

If this is about announcements, 1 voice pattern uses it for Tamil in other places it’s not fed as such. For a Non-RF passengers these trivial details aren’t a priority. They would prefer the connectivity. Speaking of AP and TS it’s neither mandatory nor a necessity. They are accustomed to terms as Express and Superfast Express respectively.

Most of the places in Tamilnadu I've heard refer to the term "Superfast" as "ativega viraivu vandi". Coimbatore, Chennai Central, Chennai Egmore, most of Coimbatore - Katpadi Line. When there is a word in the language, the announcements should ideally use that word instead of the English term. Isn't that the beauty of local languages? It is obviously not mandatory but such a word does exists and it can be implemented on the lines of promoting the language in a way.
