Pic1 Having eased the 15:10 Pilibhit Junction [PBE] to Mailani Junction [MLN] passenger service over the road crossing at the start of the journey south, the driver turns on the power to darken the Uttar Pradesh sky. Train 52221 was in the care of MG locomotive IZN YDM4 6464.
Pic2 Pilibhit Junction station provides litter bins for the use of passengers and they are regularly checked by the local livestock for anything of potential interest. The bins are well secured and just the right height and dimensions to accommodate a casual browse.
