There are lots of B class sections all over India that have capability to handle 120-130km/h MPS, but not utilized at all.. for ex. BZA-KGP stretch, SGUJ-GHY, CBE-KCVL to name a few.
Even sbc mas section is class B but due to track congestion 115 is the max speed but sometimes i have spotted Shatabdi just touching 120 between mas to ajj otherwise 115 is the mps as of now.
Pune -Bengaluru Durantoh\Shatabdhi can be good one na and Hubli-Hyderabad jan shatabadhi via GDG BAY is also good one..
Pune Bangalore Duronto and Hubli Bangalore Shatabdi will be very successful but Hubli Hyb route is too long for JS right? Is there any passenger traffic from Hyderabad to Hubli?
Yes good traffic towards Hyderabad and yes route is longer until Talkal-wadi or Ginigera-Raichur opens which shortens distance between Hyderabad to Hubli

Slack is there, so running on time, though delayed enroute.

YPR to RDG it had tight schedule, but made it on time, though heavily delayed from TK to ASK single line and also had delayed start from YPR.

Don't know, last time too they did the same. Also on normal days I see that KSK will be allowed to overtake RC either at DWR or UBL, yesterday night KSK even had clear chance to overtake RC at UBL - RC at UBL by 22:10, KSK at UBL by 22:25. But still they didn't let the overtake happen.
OMG completely unexpected overtakes !!!!
KSK overtaken by UBL-YNK Spl & GG at BAW !!! Pf-4,5,6 must be full, so no place for KSK.

KSK came to BAW at 6:08 then stood for 2 Hrs there and finally came to YPR at 8:20.

DeepakUlli~ 2929 blog postsAs per source today btn 3pm to 6pm meeting was held at swr hq hubballi to run deepavali special train ..about ypr - ubl - ypr special train via ballari most of officials agreed to run but one officer from sbc div said their won't availability of pf at ypr so can't run this train ..last time this train arrived 3 hrs late ..at last moment idea to run of this special train has been dropped ..

Everywhere MPs pressurise IR to run some regular train, but here MPs have to get involved even to run a once a year Special !!!
This would not have been the answer had it been some inter-state train.
Do u know if Hatia-YPR, that slot trains and YPR-HWH exp have SM at BYPL yard, because I had seen them coming from that side at YPR once ?? Cant such trains be started from Banaswadi as they occupy pf at peak time 8:30AM and 7:30AM, anyhow all those trains get empty at KJM.

SBC/YPR Priorty is for Inter state trains only if left some slot then any one intra state train will occupy..Such a bad situation happened better than this book Bus and travel they can atleast take us inside city serving lot of dropping points.Let SBC division handle inter state trains itself our karnataka trains only have to be terminated upto Tumkur/KJM/Banawadi because in bengaluru hardly karnataka ppl resides now a days because it is cosmopolitan dustbin now a days..
today i enqueried about this ..even koppal tried for spl train ..but swr officer did not agree mainly due to congestion at ypr ..
You got a new MP today, but since he is from opposition, no hope of anything for HPT-KTY line or new trains, I guess.

Still no announcement of YPR-UBL-YPR Spl for Deepavali, so we need to wait for another 1 year to see this train again, considering they will run it again next Dasara..
And MP Suresh Angadi says he spoke to SWR GM for Special trains to run: click here but nothing announced till now.

Yes. Still no announcement. But last time they announced just 2 days before the train run. So let's wait.
Even if they keep for entire week also it will be hit with single rake, starting from this saturday/sunday evening from Ypr side and next day evening from Ubl/Bgm side till sunday 11th

YPR CDO is the best. Even for a single trip - newly painted TB 🙇
I would hope they will introduce this again for Deepawali and Rajyotsava holiday time.
