Something is wrong here. This isn't an accident at 25 kmph. Seems maybe LPs regularly disregard that limit and who is responsible? Maybe LPs do it under pressure from someone above. Need thorough investigation. Lot of govt employees circumvent rules and this is the result.
RM is at accident site but one propoganda spreading hater is saying that RM is in AC
RM should take the responsibility and resign immediately. During his tenure maximum train accidents happening be it small or big, be it freight or passenger carrying trains, happening frequenttly. This prooves that he is incapable and should resign.
Lots of vacant post in IR is not getting filled, staffs r working overloaded. Health of staffs should be maintained and it is the duty of RM, RB to look after the health cond of staffs

Ok but the fatal scenes are saying something else. Freight must have gained MPs. Trains usually gain mps while approaching rangapani from njp side.

This may sound quite medicore but all other safety mechanism installation speed is quite slow across various sections.

Dude the work culture in India is like if you work more than your official shift you are considered a hard working person otherwise a person coming and leaving work on time is looked down upon. Thats across private and government sectors. No one cares about efficiency going down due to fatigue.
There's only so much we can do. We need more trains, but we also need coal, we need goods transported. With the exploding population, fertile land can't be compromised in the name of expansion.
When you're rewarded for showing profits, and when everyone thinks their jobs are mere quorum, then quality takes a hit. More working hours, less time for rejuvenation and maintenance, means more chances of mishaps.

Just gone through kavach or ATP anti collision technology and it works well in all three given scenarios of two trains running on same tracks, head on or back to back it activates when gap reduces below 350m.

Till now only around 1100+ km section of IR network has been fitted with kavach technology. Speed is slow

As usual they will cancel short distance/intercity and passengers to run long distance ones
That's too bad. The current condition of Guard and SLR passengers and Loco pilot of colliding must be horrible. Thoughts and prayers to their lives and their families. But why did the collision take place at all? Signaling issue again?
