After the extension of the 18463/18464 Prashanthi Express to Bhubaneswar, this is the only dedicated train from Visakhapatnam to Bengaluru. I appreciate Indian Railways for such a good scheduling of the train. train, we are made to pay Tatkal Fare for the facilities which are poorer than those in other express trains. Sometimes, this train gets canceled for a week or two. It would be better if the new train runs daily and via Guntur City. Kindly respond at the earliest and do the needful.Closure Remark:-/Sir, Based on Railway Board approval, South Western Railway is running a Tatkal Weekly Special Train Ex.Yesvantpur (YPR) – Visakhapatnam (VSKP) and back. At present, 1 pair of daily express train, 1 pair of daily passenger train, 1 pair of tri-weekly express train and 1 pair of weekly Garib Rath express trains are running between Vijayawada – Guntur – Bangalore via Narasaraopet, Dronachalam, Gooty. Moreover, due to path constraint in Bangalore – Dharmavaram single line oversaturated section and terminal constraints at Bangalore/Yesvantpur, it is not feasible to introduce one more special train between Bangalore to Visakhapatnam at present. However, the proposal will be examined on completion of doubling of Bangalore – Dharmavaram section. Thanking you,
