They can even extend a VB from SBC to Mao following the same route !
Today Vskp to BBS 170 boarding while after BAM to BBS deboarding 135. EC is too worse only 13 booked.

Bhubaneshwar would have been better option. I think Puri will not pull crowd
With 515 dep it has to overtake one train HWH SVMT if delayed by an hour it should overtake 3 trains. The slack ftom VZM to Vskp can be cut by 15 mins.
For Andhra Pradesh people the pilgrimage places are Annavaram, Vijayawada and Tirupati. Only SKLM dts and Bherhampur people have intrest in Puri or do annual pilgrimage. So premium train is not needed that too I'm reverse direction leaving Puri early morning 515.

Bhubaneswar Visakhapatnam Bhubaneswar should be thought of. Passengers from Bhubaneswar can reach by BBS VSKP Vande Bharat and Catch VSKP SC Vande Bharat and vice versa
Yes that's the best option. Why did rail do blunder by operating from Puri and finally blames comes on public for not utilizing Vande bharat.

lost of confusion prevailed over this VB. First they announced from Puri and later they changed to Bhubaneshwar. Still lot of people calling puri Vizag Vande Bharat. March 12 Inaugural run and regular run from March 17 and again March 18 maintenance day. Improper planning by ECOR. Still people not aware of schedule of this VB . Also railways have do some survey regarding the occupancy and other parameters which effects patronage
Even Kulaburgi VB also showing lot of vacant seats for todays run. People are demanding Vandebharat trains for their cities and not utilizing properly.

It can start at 7:15 am and reach at 13:15 hrs. It won't occupy PF also at VSKP and BBS. Not much OTs, only Mail.
VB should be aggressive . It can overtake 3 long distance trains. People should get comfortable timings. new VB from VSKP - SC is also overtaking many trains between VSKP - BZA.
