गोंदिया शहर के सूर्याटोला रेल गेट के पास तक तीसरी लाइन का काम आचुका है। साथ ही ROR यानी रेल ओवर रेल का काम भी तेज गति से चल रहा है, इसके लिए गार्डर भी डाल चुके है, ROR से जबलपुर - गोंदिया - चंदाफोर्ट लाइन पर रेल सुविधा सुचारू रूप से चल सकेगी, इसी रेल गेट के पास एक रोड ओवर ब्रिज भी बन रहा है जिसके लिए दो दो पिलर्स भी खड़े होगए है।

So, रेलवे के ऑफिशियल atlas ( click here ) में गोंदिया बायपास लाइन की पहली झलक दिखना शुरू हो गई है। अब जल्द से जल्द इसका काम पूर्ण हो ताकि जबलपुर,नैनपुर, बालाघाट,कटंगी,सिवनी,छिंदवाड़ा,मंडला से दुर्ग, रायपुर के लिए सीधा द्वार खुल जाएगा।
