If you give Haranahalli stop People can reach very easily and bus facility is their and more over Near many cities people can get train easily. What are cities can cover i have marked in (red circle) a image.

passengers going to shimoga to get this train, Kumsi Stop is their, also they are not utilizing because its for away from city 3 km people should walk in dark night. No vehicles available from Railway station to main road.
Kumsi railway station to main road Street lights some time its off condition. Horrible to reach Railway station and main road. Passenger feel walking in a Forest.
You People telling Railway is going under Loss. Utilize the proper stations to get collection. Blindly your dept people do the survey. Waste of money and time.
One more thing is in Haranahalli, Railway dept have Huge empty Place to upgrade the station and platform. Kumsi station upgrade is Not possible because loose soil is their. Near Kumsi Station No people have house, hotel and shops, In Haranahalli Station situated in city Near Highway, Bus Facility is available in front of railway station.
Make a good decision to solve passengers problem. Collection wise also HNHL Improved a lot Compare to Kumsi. People can reach station easily by bus and by walk.

From Shimoga to Talaguppa Line Few Stations Comes. Stations not in good condition. I am Attaching One Station Images. Haranahalli (HNHL) In this station cleanliness is not good. From this station Railway dept getting good collection in this line. Why you did not upgrade this station. We are not demanding High class Station. Once Station work completed Many years No one taking care of this station. So People are mis used the station. You Have Invested for this if you keep person to maintain this today Station should be Very clean and good condition. whom we should blame for this?
At night light not having in this line coming stations, except Haranahalli (HNHL).

Station getting Good Collection. Still Giving tender to the Private party for ticket collection. Compare to Kumsi Station haranahalli is Collection wise good.
