Division has utilized Lock Down period by
▪️Road Learning of BGP-BJU completed for Goods LP
▪️ All Parcel Special & Shramik Special running over Electrified section of Malda division is running with 100% Electric Loco (except Jamalpur Spl.)

Special/Parcel Spl bound to NJP/NFR from MLDT to run with Electric Loco as per availability from originating point.
▪️ All intra/inter-divisional Escort Special to run with Electric Loco in double headed formation.
▪️ Coal rakes bound to Tildanga (serving Farakka Thermal) & Manigram (serving Sagardighi Thermal) started to run with Electric Loco.
▪️ Route Learning started over Rampurhat-Manigram.
▪️ All DN Diesel Goods train received from NFR at Malda interchange point will be changed to Electric Loco as per Loco availablity.
▪️21 pairs Mail/Exp. trains and 20 pairs Passenger trains operating from Electrical Loco. Further 15 pairs Mail/Exp. trains shall be able to switch over DSL Traction to Electric Traction after completion BGP-SVRP CRS inspection.

Do u think 13027/28 Howrah Azimganj Kaviguru exp ahould be extended to Jangipur or Farakka with addition of few more sleeper and ac coach???
This will connect places like Jangipur, Dhuliyan with Bardhaman, Bolpur and Rampurhat. Also it will be serve like an overnight train between Kolkata and Jangipur/Dhuliyan/Nimtita/Manigram
The ideal timetable can be -

Agitation at Manigram/Raghu, Sagardighi, Lohapur & Nimtita stns.The situation at these places are critical as majority of the population is Muslim and still no CRPF on spot. (CRPF are at various stations b/w KNJ-LGL,so currently situation under control on other side of Bhagirathi) No train movement b/w AZ-NFK/BHW & AZ-RPH.
