JAMSHEDPUR: When Mamata led Government is busy bleeding it's own state, TISCO wants it's old plans to be executed. Since the inclusion of Purulia in WB after Manbhum Bengali movement, TISCO wanted to setup a plant at It's headquarter, Purulia. But due to the past negligence of CPM and thereafter the proposal never went forward. On the other hand Mamata government excused for the land being not ready.

Huge emphasis on Chharra Airport by West Bengal Government.
CM Mamata Banerjee has been very serious with her air infrastructure in the state. New Airport at Chharra will be spread over an area of 600 sp. ft.(phase 1) having two runways (phase 1). Huge investment will be made to revive every possible aspect of the WW2 airstrips used during Netaji's time. Purulia being a prime natural tourism destination falling under Bengal Tourism Circuit, will get huge boast in employment and extension of future investmensts. Apart from that, neighborhood areas of Bokaro, Jamshedpur in Jharkhand may also be benefited by this move.
