During a meeting with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw expressed that a final decision will be taken after official-level discussions. The meeting also touched upon the Angamaly-Erumeli Sabari railway project and plans to expand railway lines in Kerala. The Kerala government is also pushing for the Sabarimala railway project and expanding railway lines in Kerala.
