Another 14 stations will be developed in the current financial year (2024-25). The remaining 24 stations will be developed in the next financial year (2025-26). This initiative aims to improve the overall experience for railway passengers, making stations more user-friendly and accessible. Besides the major stations, smaller stations on branch lines or in remote areas will also be upgraded under this scheme. Four smaller stations - Sikosa, Pawara, Bhainsapur, and Salaitola - are also targeted for development.
