Over 130 people have been detained for questioning. The railway administration's decision to start track patrolling on the Delhi route (Kanpur to Kanchasi) is believed to be a consequence of the information obtained during these interrogations. To bolster track security, the GRP has also begun camping at stations. A team of 44 personnel has been formed under the leadership of Deputy SP Prayagraj, Sunita Singh, and GRP Inspector Central, Om Narayan Singh.
