The flooding of the station and track has disrupted train services on the Kashipur and Bareilly routes. The heavy rainfall has also caused the Gaula and Nandhaur rivers to swell, with water from the Tanda range forests flowing through the Kashipur railway track and reaching the Lal Kuan railway station. This water has even reached the settlements in Nagina Colony, causing water to enter people's homes. Railway officials are working to drain the water from the railway track, and they expect train operations to resume once the water level subsides. The heavy rain has also led to waterlogging in Haldwani, with drain water overflowing onto the roads. The traffic flow has been hampered due to the rain. The district administration has ordered the closure of all schools in Nainital district up to class 12 on Wednesday.
